Change your email address

  1. Step 1: Open your profile

Go to Settings → Profile & signatures and find Email.

  2. Step 2: Enter the new address

Type it in New email address and click Change email.

  3. Step 3: Confirm from your inbox

We email a confirmation link. The change takes effect when you open it. Until then you keep signing in with the old address.

Your email is where we send signed documents, receipts and security notices. If it shows Not confirmed, click Resend confirmation; if it doesn't arrive, see emails not arriving.

Change or set a password

  • You have a password: under Password, enter your Current password and a New password (at least 10 characters), then click Change password. Leave Sign out of other devices ticked to end every other session (more on devices).
  • You sign in with Google or an email link: the account has no password. Click Email me a link to set a password to add one.
  • You forgot your password: on the login page, click Forgot password? and follow the emailed link. Resetting a password signs you out everywhere else.

Ways to sign in

  • Continue with Google or Continue with Apple. If the Google or Apple account uses the same verified email as your PDFBetter account, it signs in to that account instead of creating a new one.
  • Email me a sign-in link: a one-time link that expires after a few minutes.
  • Email and password.
I signed up with “Hide My Email” in Sign in with Apple. What's my email?

Your account uses Apple's private relay address, which forwards to your real inbox. To use a different address, change it under Email as above.

The sign-in link says it expired.

Each link works once and only for a short time. Request a new one and open it on the same device.
