Buy a Day Pass for a one-off job

A Day Pass costs $6 and gives you Pro for 24 hours. It doesn't renew. Upgrade to Pro within 7 days of buying it and the Day Pass price comes off your first Pro payment.

Updated 2 min read

Use a Day Pass when you need Pro for one job, such as a batch of signature requests or a large conversion, and don't want a subscription. It's a one-time payment, so there's nothing to cancel afterwards.

  1. Step 1: Sign in

A Day Pass is attached to an account. If you're working as a guest, create a free account first; your drafts move into it.

  2. Step 2: Buy the pass

Open Settings → Plan & usage and click Day Pass · $6 in the Credits section. When you hit a monthly limit, the Limit reached dialog also offers Get a Day Pass.

  3. Step 3: Pay in checkout

Pay once in Stripe Checkout. You return to PDFBetter with Pro switched on.

  4. Step 4: Check the end time

Plan & usage shows a Day Pass badge and the exact date and time Pro features end.

What you get

  • Pro features and Pro's monthly allowances for 24 hours from purchase.
  • When the pass ends, your account goes back to its previous plan. Your documents stay.
  • Nothing renews and your card isn't charged again.

Turn the Day Pass into Pro credit

If you subscribe to Pro on pdfbetter.com within 7 days of buying a Day Pass, the Day Pass price ($6) is taken off your first Pro payment. You don't need a code: the credit is applied in checkout automatically. If you start Pro with a free trial, the credit applies to the first real payment after the trial.

Do allowances I use during the Day Pass carry over?

Usage is counted per month. During the pass you have Pro's limits; afterwards your previous plan's limits apply to the same month's usage.

Can I get a refund for a Day Pass?

The refund promise covers your first payment on pdfbetter.com. If the Day Pass was that payment, email support within 14 days for a full refund. If it was bought by mistake, contact us within 14 days.
