Create an account and keep your guest drafts
Click Create free account (or Keep my drafts in the guest banner) and sign up with email, Google or Apple. Your guest drafts, saved signatures, AI chats and usage move into the account on this device, and they stop expiring.

A free account has no card and no end date. It keeps your documents, gives you 3 edited-document downloads and 3 signature requests a month, and lets you share links and publish 1 live form.
Step 1: Open the sign-up form
Click Keep my drafts in the guest banner, Create free account in the account menu, or go to Sign up. If you hit a download or share button as a guest, the same form opens with a title like Create a free account to download.
Step 2: Choose how to sign up
Use Continue with Google or Continue with Apple where shown, or enter your email and a password (at least 10 characters) and click Create free account. You can also use Email me a sign-in link instead and skip the password.
Step 3: Keep working
Your guest work moves over straight away and the action you started (download, share, send) picks up where you left off. The message reads Your work is saved — it moves into the account, nothing is lost.
Step 4: Confirm your email
Open the link in your welcome email. You can work before confirming, but documents sent to your address only appear under Received and Shared with me once it's confirmed. Lost the email? Go to Settings → Profile & signatures and click Resend confirmation.
What moves into your account
- Guest drafts that haven't expired yet, and their folders
- Uploads, saved signatures and AI chats
- Signature requests you prepared but didn't send
- Usage so far this month, and anything you bought as a guest in the iPhone app
Drafts that already passed their 1-hour limit can't be recovered; upload the file again. The move happens when you sign up or log in to an existing account from the same browser.
It says there's already an account with this email.
Log in instead. Your guest work still moves into that account.
Can I start a paid trial right away?
New accounts start on Free. Choose Pro or Business on Pricing to start a 7-day trial with a card (one trial per account; see how the free trial works).
I signed up on my phone but my drafts were on my laptop.
Drafts move from the browser you sign up in. Log in on the laptop too and they move over, as long as they haven't expired.
