Bulk send: one document to a whole list, each person signs their own copy
Prepare the document for one signer, choose Bulk send when you send, then upload a CSV or Excel list (or paste rows) with a name and email per person. Everyone gets their own copy and signing link; you track them all in Sent. Up to 500 recipients per bulk send, on Business.

There are two different needs here. A board resolution needs five signatures on one copy: add them all to one signature request (up to 20 recipients). An updated policy needs fifty employees to each sign their own copy: that's bulk send.
Send to a list
Step 1: Prepare the document for one signer
Open the PDF in the editor and switch to Invite to sign. Keep a single signer, with no CC, and place that signer's fields (signature, date, any text the person fills in).
Step 2: Choose Bulk send
Select Send. In How to send, choose Bulk send instead of Specific people. Write the message, and set reminders and expiry as you would for one request; every copy uses them.
Step 3: Add the recipient list
Select Add recipient list, then Upload a file (CSV or Excel .xlsx) or Paste rows. The first row holds the column names: name, email, and any field you want to prefill. Download a CSV template gives you the right columns for this document.
Step 4: Check the columns and the preview
PDFBetter guesses the name and email columns; change them under Columns if needed. Other columns can Prefill for the signer (it shows already filled in on that person's signing page) or Fill into each copy (written into that person's copy). The Preview marks rows with problems: a missing name, an invalid or repeated email, an unknown field, or a value the field doesn't accept.
Step 5: Send
The summary shows how many requests you'll send and how many of your monthly signature requests that uses. Select Send N requests. Rows with problems are skipped. You can close the window; sending carries on.
Track a bulk send
In Sent, a bulk send is one row: “Bulk send · 48 recipients · 31 signed”. Open it to see every recipient with their status, filter by Waiting, Signed or Declined, canceled or expired, and Remind or Cancel one person without affecting anyone else. Each recipient's request also has its normal page, with the signed PDF and Certificate of Completion once they finish.
Limits
- Bulk send is on Business. On other plans the option shows a Business badge and opens the upgrade dialog.
- Up to 500 recipients per bulk send; split longer lists. One bulk send runs at a time.
- One signer per copy and no CC recipients. For several signers on each copy, send separate requests.
- Access codes are set person by person, so bulk send doesn't use them. The emailed code works: verify signers.
Can I send to a list without Business?
Not in one step. Save the document as a template and send one request per person, or add everyone to a single request if they can all sign one copy.
What happens if one person declines?
Only their copy is declined. Everyone else's request carries on.
Can my integration do this?
Zapier, Make and the API create requests one at a time; see the API. The list upload is in the app.
