Print a PDF from PDFBetter
Click Done → Print (or the printer icon in the top bar), then Print. PDFBetter prepares a flattened copy and opens your browser's print dialog, where you pick the printer, pages and scale. Printing counts as a download, so it needs a free account.
Updated 1 min read Counts toward edited-document downloads
Step 1: Open Print
In the editor, click Done → Print. On wide screens the printer icon in the top bar does the same.
Step 2: Click Print
PDFBetter renders your edits into a flattened PDF and opens your browser's print dialog.
Step 3: Choose pages and scale
In the print dialog, set the Page range (for example
1-3, 5). Pick Actual size or 100% to keep measurements, or Fit to page for oversized pages.
What the printout includes
- Everything you added (text, checkmarks, signatures, images, shapes) drawn into the page, as you see it on screen.
- Form field values, flattened so they print exactly as typed.
- Comments and sticky notes are left out.
Printing onto a paper form
To fill a pre-printed paper form, you need only your answers on blank pages. Print doesn't have that option; use Done → Download, turn on Only what I added, download, and print that file at Actual size with the paper form in the tray. See Download your edited PDF.
Accounts and limits
Printing makes a copy of the edited document, so it counts as an edited-document download: 3 a month on Free, unlimited on Pro and Business. As a guest you're asked to create a free account, and printing continues after you sign in.
| Feature | No account | Free | Pro | Business |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Edited-document downloads | — | 3 | Unlimited | Unlimited |
