# Signing and notification emails aren't arriving

> Check spam, promotions and quarantine first; PDFBetter sends from no-reply@pdfbetter.com. If a signer didn't get an invitation, open the request under **Sent**, check **Activity**, and use **New link / fix email** to correct the address and send a new link.

Do it in PDFBetter: https://pdfbetter.com/app/requests/

## First checks (everyone)

- Look in spam, junk, promotions and any “other” tab. Search your mailbox for “PDFBetter”.
- Add no-reply@pdfbetter.com to your contacts or safe senders.
- On a work address, ask your IT team whether the message was quarantined. Company filters often hold messages with links.
- Wait a few minutes and check that the address is spelled right.

## Signer didn't get the invitation (for senders)

1. **Open the request**: Click **Sent** in the sidebar and open the request ([tracking requests](https://help.pdfbetter.com/signing/track-signature-requests/)).
2. **Read the Activity**: **Invitation emailed** means it left our side; **Invitation email failed** means it bounced or couldn't be sent.
3. **Fix the address and send a new link**: Under **Recipients**, click the new-link button next to the person (**New link / fix email**), correct the **Email** if needed and click **Send new link**. Their previous link stops working.
4. **Or send a reminder**: Click the bell next to the person (**Send a reminder**), or **Remind** at the top to remind everyone who hasn't signed.

Invitations arrive with a subject like “[Sender] sent you “[title]” to sign”. Replies go to the sender, not to PDFBetter. Signers can also sign without the email: once they [create an account](https://help.pdfbetter.com/getting-started/create-account-keep-drafts/) with that address and confirm it, the request appears under **Received**.

## Account emails

| Email | Good to know |
| --- | --- |
| Sign-in link | Works once and expires in 15 minutes. Open it on the same device. Use **Use a different email** if you mistyped. |
| Password reset | Expires after an hour and works once. Request a new one from **Forgot password?**. |
| Email confirmation | Resend it from **Settings** → [Profile & signatures](https://pdfbetter.com/app/settings/) → **Resend confirmation**. |
| Signed document | Everyone gets the signed PDF and certificate when the last person finishes. Download links work for 7 days, so save a copy. |

> **Note:** As a sender you get emails when someone signs, when everything is complete, and when a request is declined or expires. Opens and signatures also appear in the notifications bell in the dashboard.

### The signer says the link doesn't work.

Links stop working after a new link is sent, when the request is canceled or expires, or when it isn't their turn yet in a signing order. Send a new link from the request.

### I still get nothing after all of this.

We also email you about signatures, form responses and shared documents; turn those off in Settings → Notifications.
- [A signing or form link says expired, canceled or not your turn](https://help.pdfbetter.com/troubleshooting/signing-or-form-link-wont-open.md): The message on the page says why. Not your turn yet means others sign first and you'll get an email. Expired, canceled or declined means the request is closed and the sender has to send a new one. We couldn't open this link usually means a newer link replaced it.
