Admins can click **Admin install** to add it for everyone or for chosen groups. Then right-click a file in Drive → **Open with** → **PDFBetter**. Do it in PDFBetter: https://pdfbetter.com/app/settings/integrations/ ## Install it for yourself 1. **Open the listing**: Go to [PDFBetter on the Google Workspace Marketplace](https://workspace.google.com/marketplace/app/pdfbetter/993763678234). From Google Drive, you can also click **New** → **More** → **Connect more apps** and search for PDFBetter. 2. **Install**: Click **Install**, then **Continue**, and choose the Google account whose Drive you use. 3. **Allow access**: Google lists what PDFBetter asks for: your email address and the Drive files you use with PDFBetter. Allow it to finish. 4. **Reload Google Drive**: Reload any open Drive tab. PDFBetter now shows under **Open with** when you right-click a file. The first file you open still asks you to log in to PDFBetter (or create a free account) and to connect Google Drive once, so PDFBetter can read that file and save PDFs back. [What happens the first time](https://help.pdfbetter.com/automation/open-from-google-drive/). ## Install it for your organization 1. **Sign in as an admin**: Use a Google Workspace admin account that can manage Marketplace apps. 2. **Click Admin install**: On [the listing](https://workspace.google.com/marketplace/app/pdfbetter/993763678234), click **Admin install**. In the Google Admin console, the same is under **Apps** → **Google Workspace Marketplace apps** → **Apps list** → **Add app**. 3. **Choose who gets it**: Pick everyone in your organization, or specific organizational units or groups, then accept the terms and permissions. 4. **Let your team know**: PDFBetter appears in **Open with** in their Google Drive. Google says this can take up to 24 hours. > **Note:** An admin install only adds PDFBetter to the menu. Each person uses their own PDFBetter account and connects their own Google Drive the first time; PDFBetter reads someone's files only after they do. ## Uninstall - **For yourself:** in Google Drive, click **Settings** (the gear) → **Settings** → **Manage apps**, then next to PDFBetter choose **Options** → **Disconnect from Drive**. Or open **Manage apps** on the Marketplace and uninstall PDFBetter. - **For your organization:** in the Admin console, go to **Apps** → **Google Workspace Marketplace apps** → **Apps list**, open PDFBetter and remove it. - Uninstalling takes PDFBetter out of **Open with**.
